121. - (1) Any Member intending to propose that certain Members be members of a select committee, or be discharged from a select committee, shall give notice of the names of Members whom he intends so to propose, shall endeavour to ascertain previously whether each such Member will give his attendance on the committee, and shall endeavour to give notice to any Member whom he proposes to be discharged from the committee.

(2) No motion shall be made for the nomination of members of select committees appointed under Standing Order No. 152 (Select committees related to government departments) or under Standing Order No. 142 (Domestic Committees), or for their discharge, unless-

(a) notice of the motion has been given at least two sitting days previously, and

(b) the motion is made on behalf of the Committee of Selection by the chairman or another member of the committee.

121. - (1) Qualunque Membro che intenda proporre che determinati Membri siano membri di una select committee, o siano esonerati da una select committee, darà preavviso dei nomi dei Membri che intende in tal modo proporre, farà in modo di accertare preventivamente se ciascuno di tali Membri accetterà di far parte della commissione, e farà in modo di dare preavviso a ciascun Membro che propone di esonerare dalla commissione.

(2) Non verrà presentata alcuna mozione per la nomina di membri di select committee costituite ai sensi dello Standing Order n. 152 (Select Committee riferite a dipartimenti del governo) o ai sensi dello Standing Order n. 142 (Domestic Committee), o per il loro esonero, a meno che

(a) preavviso della mozione sia stato dato con almeno due giorni di seduta di anticipo, e

(b) la mozione venga presentata per conto della Commissione di Selezione dal presidente o da un altro membro della commissione.
